{"id":2937,"date":"2013-07-02T00:00:56","date_gmt":"2013-07-01T23:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/robindesbois.org\/?p=2937"},"modified":"2015-06-17T11:32:11","modified_gmt":"2015-06-17T10:32:11","slug":"the-big-one","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/robindesbois.org\/en\/the-big-one\/","title":{"rendered":"The Big One"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>MOL Comfort <\/em>disaster (follow up)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Information notice N\u00b07<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The fracture of the giant container <em>ship Mol Comfort <\/em>on June 17th, 2013 is turning into total disaster.<\/p>\n<p>The aft part sank on June 27th, 11: 40 am (local time).<\/p>\n<p>The attempted towing of the fore part towards the Sultanate of Oman is confronting difficulties which were predictable. <!--more-->The tow wired snapped on July 1st. The fore part is once again adrift and approaching the shores of the Indian subcontinent.<\/p>\n<p>The total loss of <em>Mol Comfort<\/em> and of her cargo is now most probable.
