Orangutans always knocked down
The orangutans are brought down by palm oil, clearing fires and retaliation from small and large producers. The rescuers do not know which way to turn and during these months of ashes and want for the adult and baby orangutans, the Nutella maker poses in a suit with a big smile on the front page: “We’re coming out of the Covid-19 crisis even stronger. During the stay at home order, we all ate Nutella”. The orangutans hate it. To be found pages 66 to 68.

Penis and genitals
Increased animal emasculation in Africa and Asia. Marine turtles, elephants, lions and bears are targeted (to be found pages 25, 73, 121, 125). Humanity is in search of sexual power, all means are being employed.

Stripped to the teeth
More than 1000 US$ for a tiger’s canine, nearly 100 US$ for a leopard’s canine. Trafficking in feline teeth is international. The poaching of jaguars and ocelots in South America and the smuggling of teeth to Asia are booming. But bear, wolf and shark teeth and elephant molars are also in the news (to be found pages 71, 73, 75, 77, 78, 79, 100, 120 and 129). When the dealers don’t do things by halves, they are smuggling whole jaws. Teeth are typically regarded as good luck charms and displayed as status symbols.

Tigers’ infernal journey through the European Union
10 tigers cross the European borders in a horse truck. Belarusian customs have put an end to the hell tour (to be found page 72). One tiger did not get out alive.

Goldfinches
Poaching and international trade in goldfinches are on the rise. Soon, if nothing moves, the goldfinches will only be present on the stamps. To be found in the chapter Birds.
