On Sunday, January 21, 1968, at around 9 a.m. local time, the Boeing B-52G bomber known as HOBO 28 took off from Platsburgh Air Force Base (New York State) for Mission Junky 14 over the Arctic Circle, Greenland and the US Thule Air Base.

It takes about 5 days for parcels from Ust-Luga to arrive by rail at Tomsk-7, the secret city in Siberia now known by the euphemism of Seversk.

In its report about “78 EU-approved livestock carriers” (2021) written with the support of the German NGOs Animal Welfare Foundation and Tierschutzbund Zürich, Robin des Bois had already noted that “during the trading life of livestock carriers, additional and illegal traffics have been reported or suspected.”

The Spiridon II, 52 years old, flying the Togolese flag, left Montevideo, Uruguay, on September 19 with her live “goods”, arrived off the coast of Bandirma, Türkiye, on October 22, was quarantined for 23 days, and then set sail again for Montevideo with her “cargo”. She is scheduled to arrive in mid-December.
